Stay connected with former staff, board, fellows and interns of NHeLP programs
The Friends of the National Health Law Program (NHeLP) is the exclusive network of former NHeLP board members, staff, fellows, and interns, as well as current special friends. The Friends of NHeLP’s main goals are to support and strengthen NHeLP; to provide educational and networking opportunities (such as events and issue-based education) for its members; and to fulfill the mission of the organization.
Friends of NHeLP are a very special group of public service lawyers, policy analysts, advocates, and industry leaders who have shared the "NHeLPer Experience."

Friends of NHeLP Giving Circle
NHeLP alumni board, staff, fellows, and interns, as well as current special friends are leaders and experts in health law. These dedicated individuals are committed to protecting and advancing the health rights of low income and underserved individuals in their work beyond their NHeLP experience.
NHeLP relies on charitable contributions to ensure that key aspects of the Affordable Care Act are implemented. With the financial support of our Friends, NHeLP is able to hire and retain the best and brightest legal and policy minds, helping ensure that health rights are accessible to families from all backgrounds.
The Friends of NHeLP Giving Circle can support NHeLP in many ways. Every gift to NHeLP, no matter the size, helps support priorities that are essential to the quality of programs and advocacy at NHeLP, including,
- Intern scholarships
- Recruiting and retaining gifted lawyers and policy analysts
- Professional development for staff
- Education opportunities for advocates, law firms, and industry leaders
