Chief Operating Officer
Based in NHeLP’s Washington, D.C., headquarters, Dana You is the organization’s Chief Operating Officer. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic improvements to NHeLP’s infrastructure and organizational processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Dana joined NHeLP from the Corporation for Enterprise Development, a D.C.-based organization that works with government at all levels to create pathways to opportunity and financial stability for low- and moderate-income Americans. As budget manager at CFED, Dana reviewed and managed grant budgets from a number of major funders.
Previously, Dana spent a decade in program administration at George Mason University, where she held a number of positions in the Department of Psychology, the School of Public Policy, and the Department of Health Policy. As the center finance administrator at GMU’s Department of Health Policy, she managed a budget of id="mce_marker"3 million and oversaw grant compliance.
Dana graduated from George Mason University, where she majored in Public Administration and minored in Information Technology.
Dana loves to experience and learn about new cultures and places especially through food.
