On February 24, Judge Saundra B. Armstrong granted an injunction halting cuts to Adult Day Health Services for thousands of Californians with disabilities.  The court held that the service cuts would have forced people into nursing homes and other institutions.  And, the state's budgetary problems did not justify cutting the Medicaid-funded services these people needed to remain in their homes.  Read more...
