Jina joined NHeLP in September 2010 as a Staff Attorney in the North Carolina office. Prior to joining NHeLP, Jina served as a Board Member of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, and interned with the International Legal Program of the Center for Reproductive Rights and with the Chapel Hill and India offices of Ipas. Jina currently serves on the Board of NARAL Pro-Choice NC, the Durham County Women’s Commission, and as President on the Board of NC Women United. Jina also has extensive research and policy analysis experience in the areas of global health, human rights, and reproductive justice advocacy in the developing country context. Jina graduated with a B.S. in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also received her joint J.D. and M.P.H. with a Global Health Certificate.
