The Opportunity Agenda’s report, Dangerous and Unlawful: Why Our Health Care System Is Failing New York Communities and How to Fix It. The report finds that the inequitable distribution of health care services across New York communities violates state, federal, and international laws protecting residents’ right to health care. It also notes that neighborhoods with the highest health care needs often have the fewest health care resources. And it offers practical policy solutions that can provide everyone in our state with quality health care.
