The New York Immigration Coalition is pleased to share translated versions of two new community education pieces that reflect recent changes in state law and regulation:

Know Your Rights to Hospital Language Assistance
Both the financial assistance piece, developed in conjunction with Urban Justice Center, and the language assistance piece, developed in conjunction with New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, are intended to improve the understanding of immigrant New Yorkers about their rights to affordable hospital care in a language they can understand.
Along with the English language versions, materials are available in Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Haitian-Creole, Korean and Serbo-Croatian. We are in the process of translating into additional languages. The information is relevant throughout New York State.
