
Andy DiAntonio is the Director of Communications at the National Health Law Program’s Washington, D.C. office. In this role, he leads strategic communications efforts to elevate the organization’s mission to protect and expand access to health care for low-income individuals and communities. Andy collaborates closely with staff across the organization to design and execute communications strategies that effectively reach key audiences, including policymakers, advocates, funders, the media, and national and state partners.
Prior to joining NHeLP, Andy served as Digital Media Manager at the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), where he managed the organization’s digital presence and advanced its mission to support LGBTQ entrepreneurs and small business owners. His communications career began in the social media department of Yale University’s Office of Public Affairs & Communications, while he was a graduate student. Before that, Andy was the Director of Youth Ministry at a large United Methodist church in Northern Virginia.
Andy earned his Master of Arts in Religion from Yale University in 2014, focusing on religion in the United States, and his B.A. from The College of William & Mary in 2010. A lifelong resident of the D.C. area, Andy has called the District home for over a decade. He lives in Northeast D.C. with his husband, Matt, and their two dogs, Dexter and Cersei. Outside of work, Andy is a passionate gardener, creative crafter, and devoted tofu enthusiast.
